Distinctive Indie Jazz Pop singer Eva Gadd continues to carve her niche in the music industry by pairing clever lyrics with compelling melodies. She has won continuing support from BBC Introducing with her songs played on BBC Radio Solent, Devon & Cornwall, and Oxford as well as Jazz FM and many other independent radio stations in the UK and abroad.
She gave the BBC an exclusive live session during Lockdown and appeared at the Airwaves Festival. More recently she performed on the BBC Introducing Stage at Truck Festival 2023 as well as at O2 Academy Oxford, Sofar Sounds and Beat Herder Festival.
Soon after leaving Falmouth University Eva signed to Blue Lab Beats’ record label Blue Adventure for a four-song EP. Debut single “Breathing” was followed by ‘Get It‘, Flavour and the EP’s title track I Don’t Talk which have collectively amassed over 250K Spotify streams. The tracks are co-written and produced by Grammy Award winners Blue Lab Beats and find Eva’s delicate vocal tones floating over a jazztronica groove that’s impossible not to move to.
Now based in Dorset the 25 year old emerging artist is writing and performing new material and focusing on building her live career, whether it be solo acoustic or full band performances of her original songs.

Paul Sanders, Radio Abbey Kenilworth, Oct 2023
Man, this takes me back. Like a modern spin on early noughties throwback r’n’b with a little touch of trap thrown in, ‘Get It’, well, kinda gets it. The beats are chilled enough, the instruments are just right, and the vocals are unbelievable. This will feel like a lazy comparison, but this sort of feels to me a bit like the answer to the eternal question of “What would Aaliyah be releasing in 2023?” It’s this, and I wouldn’t be shocked if there was a little touch of inspiration in there. It’s got all the relatable complicated relationship undertones of a classic, and I really hope people get a chance to hear this en masse. This is top, top work.
